One phase in a big vision. : The objective of the project is to set up quality nurseries and ago-forestry plantations, with the aim not only of boosting national agricultural production to provide a sustainable response to food security problems, but also to develop in the long-term a large-scale production that will integrate the activities of breeding, fishing, ecotourism, ecological restoration and transformation of our products at the local level. Specifically, it is to: Establish a medium intensity seedling nursery for this first phase; Improve soil quality and create new cocoa, citrus, fruit, banana, plantain and other plantations in areas of high productivity to boost domestic production, using selected plant material resistant to diseases and insects with better yield; Ensuring the security and food self-sufficiency of households; Increase the incomes of rural producers; Bringing supply closer to demand in terms of costs and greenhouse gas emissions; Promote semi-intensive rural and semi-urban production in accordance with permaculture principles; Provide food for vulnerable populations, such as orphans and precarious older people.
